Outlook address books and Word macros
A co-worker is using Word XP and Outlook 2007. She is French speaking so I
am requesting information on her behalf. We have recently changed access to read-only rights for the majority of our employees using shared address lists in Outlook 2007 (with Exchange). This was done to avoid errors in the address books. Now her Word macros cannot access the shared address lists. She has created buttons in .dot files that several employees use to open a window identical to Outlook Tools, Address Book. When they click a contact from this shared address book then click OK, the information is placed throughout the document with the help of bookmarks. Can this same function be used without having to change the access lists for more complete access? She said that her macro has not worked since she changed access type to read-only. I will post this in both Outlook and Word forums. Any help or suggestions are appreciated. |

Outlook address books and Word macros
It would help if the code that is being used by the macros was supplied.
