Keeping table rows together
I'm creating a table that has three columns, the third
column of which I put values and add for a total. That's all fine. But every so often within the table I have to put a heading. I create a new row for this, and I'm wondering if there is a command to "keep rows together." I don't want the rows with the headings to end up at the bottoms of pages. I tried the "Keep With Next" paragraph command, which didn't work. |

"Keep with next" should work (provided you don't apply it to too many rows),
but you may have to apply it to the entire row rather than just a single paragraph in a single cell. -- Suzanne S. Okay, I went back and tried it again. This time I used the first column, which has an automatic numbering code in it, and used "Keep with next" and that worked! However, interestingly, it didn't work when I used it in the next column, where the descriptive text is typed. But I have a solution, so thanks much!! -----Original Message----- "Keep with next" should work (provided you don't apply it to too many rows), but you may have to apply it to the entire row rather than just a single paragraph in a single cell. -- Suzanne S.
