Default After I create a text box, how do I get rid of the border?

After I create a text box, I can't get rid of the border that is
automatically created. I've tried to use the "none" setting under Borders but
it doesn't work.

Right-click on the border and pick Format Textbox from the menu. Change the
line color to "no line." You may also want to change the fill color to "no
fill."
