Receive meeting requests - Ignore meeting responses --- Possible?
Bottom Line (right here at the top of the msg):
A user needs to receive meeting requests, but not meeting responses. This user's delegated assistant needs to see both. Scenario: (Outlook 2003, against Exchange 2000) John is the boss and has delegated his calendar to Lisa. John wants to see all meeting requests for himself so he can accept or decline the requests. (And most of the time Lisa will just ignore these requests) John does not want to see the accept/decline responses to meetings which he (or Lisa, on his behalf) has created. Lisa DOES want to see these responses. I have setup Lisa with full delegate permissions on John's calendar. I have checked the box to have Lisa receive copies of meeting-related messages destined for John. I have unchecked the box to send meeting requests and responses only to his delegates. At this point I have setup a filter in John's inbox to move meeting responses to his deleted items folder. There must be a better/cleaner way. Any ideas, hints, tips, or cash are greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help, Matt |
