Default Outlook.exe has generated errors--Can't cancel a meeting

What would cause Outlook 2000 to be closed by Windows when a user tries to
cancel a meeting for another users calendar?

Or, put another way, is there a way to fix this problem?

Thanks for the help!
Adam : )

Troubleshooting thus far:
* Ran All from Hard Drive in Add/Remove Programs=Change Utility
(on both computers)
* Ran "Detect and Repair"
(on both computers)

did you try the cleanreminders switch? See
http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/commandlines.htm to learn how to use
switches and search your Help using cleanreminders as the key word to learn
which switches are available for your version.

Thank you for that helpful information regarding the Outlook switches and,
for taking the time to reply to my post! It turned out to be a problem with
spyware and viruses. The user that whose calendar needed to have a meeting
canceled picked up multiple Viruses and Spyware when he connected to a hotel
network in Europe. He was out of town and unavailable until yesterday when I
learned what the problem was.

Nevertheless, thank you again for taking the time to reply and for the other
useful information!
