Many Sound Icons on Screen
I have a presentation where I have a WAV file starting on the first slide and
plays through my second slide. Then when I come to slide 3 the music stops. This is what should happen. On slide 3 I have inserted 12 - MP3 files that I want people to click on to listen to. They are individual testimonials. They play when I click on them but if I click on a second one before the first is finished playing they both play. Is there a way to stop the first file from playing if they click on a second one before the first finishes? |

Scott,
You could add a little 'autoshape' that has the 'action setting' to 'stop previous sound' and label the autoshape 'stop sounds' cheers TAJ Simmons microsoft powerpoint mvp awesome - powerpoint backgrounds, http://www.awesomebackgrounds.com free powerpoint templates, tutorials, hints, tips and more... Thanks for your response TAJ Simmons. I tried this but when I click on the
newly created autoshape nothing happens. I set the action to stop sound. Do you think it has anything to do with me using MP3's? Any other suggestions? -- Scott Ennis "TAJ Simmons" wrote: Scott, You could add a little 'autoshape' that has the 'action setting' to 'stop previous sound' and label the autoshape 'stop sounds' cheers TAJ Simmons microsoft powerpoint mvp awesome - powerpoint backgrounds, http://www.awesomebackgrounds.com free powerpoint templates, tutorials, hints, tips and more... I firgured it out. I had inserted the sound using the insert audio file
which insert the speaker icon. I removed that and created autoshapes for both the play and stop buttons. Works perfectly. Thank you. -- Scott Ennis "Scott Ennis" wrote: Thanks for your response TAJ Simmons. I tried this but when I click on the newly created autoshape nothing happens. I set the action to stop sound. Scott,
My fault... I just 'assume' that everyone uses the 'insert sounds from file' (as it's the most reliable) cheers TAJ |
