Default Outlook Errors

I tried to download update (KB972363) which did not complete and rolled back
I could not open outlook afterwards and windows installer comes up to
configure Office 2007 enterprise and finishes up with error message 1402
'Unable to open registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\.vcs'
I have tried REGEDIT and the permissions are ticked in the boxes

Which version of Windows are you using?
Insert the CD/DVD and do a repair on Office. You might need to reapply any
service pack or other update to Office afterwards.
