Default How to reinstall Outlook 2003 and get all my old files back

We had to get a new hard drive. Fortunately, everything was backed up on a
back-up drive. Still, can you point me to instructions on how to reinstall
Outlook 2003 so that it pulls in the old files. In the past when I have
tried this, it seems it always starts a new set of folders in addition to the
old ones I want it to use.

Thanks for your help!

After reconfiguring Outlook, copy over your pst-file (do not delete or
overwrite any existing pst-files in this process) from your backup location
and reattach it to Outlook via;
File- Open- Outlook Data File...
