Default Save password setting not retained in Outlook

The save password setting is not retained in Outlook 2002 for Windows 7. I
already went thought all 3 methods in Microsoft's Knowledge Base 290684
including deleting the user account information in the registry and nothing
helped.

Default Save password setting not retained in Outlook

Outlook 2002 is not fully compatible with Vista or Win7
This is one issue you will find, which wont be fixed by MS as 2002 is out of
support
Outlook 2003 and above is compatible
