Default Reformat endnote numbers?

The publisher for the book I'm typing wants superscript endnote references,
but in the Endnote section itself, they want them as 1. 2. 3. Is there
any way to tell Word to do this? I have a feeling I may be able to do it
manually, but there are 193 endnotes...
