label with list of names vertically
I am trying to create labels. I want each label to contain a list
ie: 1 2 3 4 5 so the label will be 4" tall and 1.5 " wide rather than the other way around. |

Labels are set up as a table, so you have basically two choices:
1. You can rotate the text in the the table cells (which means you'll have to view it sideways). 2. You can create a new label definition (or template) with the labels rotated. To do this, you'll need to note all the settings for the existing label definition (top and side margins, horizontal and vertical pitch, number of labels across and down) and swap these after you change the page orientation. -- Suzanne S. Well, you'd swap top and side margins, width and height, horizontal and
vertical pitch. In other words, the width of the horizontal labels would become the height of the vertical labels and vice versa, and so on. -- Suzanne S. Okay so if I want to make flash cards using business cards I just need to set
up the table and rotate the numbers side ways? So if my business cards are 2x3 the cells would need to be that size? You can rotate either the text or the layout; you don't have to do both.
