Microsoft on 2 Computers
I have Microsoft Office 2003 installed on my desktop.
Recently I purchased a Sony VAIO laptop which has Microsoft Works and a trial of Microsoft Office 2003 on it. 1. I want to uninstall Microsoft Works 2. Uninstall the trial Office 2003 3. Use my purchased copy of Office 2003 on the laptop (as well as keep it on my desktop)...can I do this? Instead of uninstalling Office 2003 trial and installing Office 2003 can I just use my serial number for the 2003 I have on my desktop on the laptop? Any suggestions? Thanks! Whitney |

Hi Whitney,
I agree with Milly, check you end user license, because if you have an OEM vesion of Office 2003, it lives and dies on the machine it originally was installed on. If you want to know if it is OEM or not, go into any Office application, click Help, click About (Office appliaction) and if the Product ID has number and the letters OEM in it, you may not install it on another machine. If you do install it on another machine you will not be able to reactivate it. Hope this helps, Lee |

Hi Whitney,
Open any Office apps in trial version and go to help and activate product. Using it you can upgrade your trial version to licensed version by giving your valid key. You will need to uninstall the Office 2003 trial. Also if the version of =
