Default How do I change a recurring appointment to all day event?

I sometimes forget to set up birthdays and anniversaries, etc., as an "All
Day" event instead a default time. When I open the appointments later, I
cannot seem to find a way to select "All Day" to correct the appointment
without removing the reocurrance and reestablishing it--that, by the way
changes the reocurrance frequenty back to the default and it must be changed
again. There must be an easier way...

The easier way is to use the inbuilt birthday and anniversary functionof
Outlook. Every Contact can have an annually recurring birthday (an event)
and an annually recurring Anniversary (also an Event). Try that.

Yeah, I know what you mean, you would expect a tick box or something like
you do when setting it up. Try this:

- Double click to open the item and select 'Open the Series'.
- Click on 'Recurrence' (or go to Actions Recurrence)
- Change start time to 00:00, end time to 00:00 and duration to 1 day.
- Click OK, then save and close.

Default Same Question

I have same question. Unfortunately, neither of the previous proposed solutions seems to actually convert an existing recurring appointment to an all day event.

Eggheadcafe still doesn't quote messages correctly.

Simply checking the All Day Event box seems to work for me. Exactly how are
you creating these events? With what version of Outlook?

Default Same Question

What were the proposed solutions and why didn't they work?

Note that when you reply to a post that is more than a couple of months old,
those of us using the Microsoft servers (where egghead café gets the posts
from) do not see the thread and have no clue as to what you are talking
about. If you want help, its better to start a new thread and explain your
problem, including the version of outlook, type of email account and version
of windows.
