It seem sthat my calender entries vanish from my hand held and Outlook
calender after just two weeks. How can I maintain the entries for a longer
period of time in handheld as well as in my Outlook calender?

Have you checked the auto-archive properties on the Calendar folder? Right
click on it, choose Properties and go to the Auto Archive tab.

Also check the sync program to see if there's any setting there that matter.

You need to change the devices options in order to keep appointments longer.
without knowing the device we can't begin to tell you where to look.

For blackberry, see http://www.slipstick.com/calendar/missing_appt.asp
