MSFlexgrid object doesn't support this property
See this
http://groups.google.com/group/comp....r+flex+grid%3F and these two just updated yesterday. http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sec...ry/960715.mspx http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sec.../MS09-002.mspx That's the reason why some developers don't use them. mcnews wrote: my users are suddenly receiving a 'object doesn't support this property' on MSFlexgrid from a productuion app they've been using for over a year. i get the same error using Access 2007. what gives? tia, mcnewsxp -- Please Rate the posting if helps you. MSFlexgrid object doesn't support this property
The KB960715 "security update" sets a "kill bit" in the registry entry
for several ActiveX controls, including several of MS's own VB6 controls. MSFlexGrid and WinSock are two of those affected. More info he http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/advisory/960715.mspx It turns out that there is another KB (957924) which updates those VB6 ActiveX controls to a later version which does not have the vulnerability and are therefore not kill-bitted. The "OK" version for msflxgrd.ocx and mswinsck.ocx 6.1.98.12. You can download this VB6 update from he http://support.microsoft.com/kb/957924 |

I had the same problem with my application written in MS Access 2003 (using a
MS Flexgrid control from VB 6.0). I am glad that this information was posted. Thank you so much ! -- Jimmy Teeter "mcnews" wrote: The KB960715 "security update" sets a "kill bit" in the registry entry for several ActiveX controls, including several of MS's own VB6 controls.
