Format the query results
I'm currently using Access 2k; I probably was using an earlier version at my
last job. I thought that I used to be able to click on the field properties in a query and specify the alignment, the font size, etc. Am I crazy? Is there a way to do this in Access 2k? |

You can change the font and appearance of the entire query if you wish. While the query is open in Query Datasheet view, click on Format + Font or Format + Datasheet. Make your changes and save the query. As far as text alignment, as far as I know you can't. Why not use a form (in Datasheet view), with the query as it's record source, to display the results. Change the Fonts and table appearance as above. And now you can individually align the various fields as well. Open the Form, not the query. -- Fred Please respond only to this newsgroup. Format the query results
Hi Fred,
Thanks for the response. Maybe that's what I'm remembering -- changing the font in datasheet view. I seem to remember changing the alignment, but maybe I'm confused! I have used forms for several queries because of the conditional formatting options, but I'm lazy and don't want to convert all of them! Thanks again!
