It depends on exactly what you want to do as to how to do it, but I would
go to the View menu and choose Master and Slide Master. I would insert the picture there and set the brightness up and the contrast down. Then I would resize the picture to cover the whole screen. This picture will show up in the background of every slide. --David -- David M. Yes, you can insert your image as a background into your presentation and
when you save, it will become a PowerPoint presentation with a .ppt extension. With PowerPoint open, click on Format, Background, click the down arrow and select Fill Effects, Pictures, and navigate to your picture file once selected you have the option to apply this image to all slides or just the one your working on. -- Michael Koerner MS MVP - PowerPoint "michael" wrote in message ... In 2003, I can open the master slide view and go to the Format menu and then choose Background. From there, I have to select Fill Effects from the pull down menu (that is mainly used for picking a color). This brings up a dialogue box. I can now click on the Picture tab and click the button to select a picture. Note that if the picture is not in the right perspective (4:3), it will be distorted. For this reason, you might choose the option I recommended earlier of just inserting the picture here (Insert Menu, choose Picture, choose From File). Then you can drag it from a corner to fill as much of the screen as you want without distorting but not necessarily filling the entire screen or filling the entire screen but cutting off some of the picture around the edges. --David -- David M.
