Default Editing and PPS file

I have a Powerpoint Presentation that was download as a PPS. Is there anyway
that I can edit it? I cannot seem to open it in any way that isn't PPS.

Here are three ways

Open powerpoint and file open , navigate to the pps

Right click the pps and choose NEW

If you can see the .pps suffix change it to .ppt

New (as you might imagine ) should give you a copy of the file in a new
presentation. It should allow you to edit and save as back to the original
file if you wish or to a new file
