Default Old updated meetings not being removed

We are having a problem where someone has booked a
meeting room as a resource, then changing the resource to
a different room, and while the new room shows the
booking correctly, the old room has not removed the
booking. This is on Outlook 2002 running on a 2003
server. Has anyone had this problem?

How are the users updating the meeting?

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, Mel asked:

They are making the change (ie, adding the new room as a=20
resource), then clicking Send Update. They get a=20
response saying the resource has been booked. The update=20
is not removing the meeting from the old resource,=20
however.
