Default How do I fix a problem with hlink.dll file?

Hello! Ever since I've installed Microsoft Office, I haven't been able to
click links within my e-mails or view powerpoint presentations. I get the
following error: "the hlink.dll file is incompatible with Microsoft Office
Outlook, please reinstall Outlook." I've tried reinstalling Micro Office
twice, and also tried to repair twice, but it still doesn't work. Can anyone
help?

I have the same problem - did you ever find a solution? I found a KB article
# 813726 that someone on this forum said to do - but that did not work for me
either. I took the steps below that you did as well. I have a dell computer
and called them to no avail. Any help is grateful...
