How do I open a Word document within ACCESS and scroll through the document?
I want to view a Word document within MS Access 2000 and I also want
to scroll through the tekst and print the document if necessary. Now I use a hyperlink that automatically opens MS Word but if you close Word you have to manually select MS access again to go back to the database. So is it possible to open, view (and scroll) and print the document from within access?? Thanks in advance! |

I am not sure that I see what you think is wrong with what you are
doing. It is simple, it works, and you just have to (at most) close Word and/or click on the Access tab on the program bar to get back where you were. To do what I think you want to do, you would need to use Word Automation in Access VBA to open and display the document and loop until it was closed before continuing. This would only save you one step, and would involve some programming. AFAIK, there is no mini-Word viewer that will literally run within Access.
