Your "blank" pages most likely contain paragraph marks, created when
you press ENTER. You can select these and press DELETE. It's easier to
see what you are doing if you display nonprinting characters (on the
Standard toolbar, click the ¶ button). For more information, see:

Adding a detail...

Note that a table must always be followed by a paragraph mark. And if
the table occupies an entire page, the paragraph mark might be located
on the following page, which will cause an extra empty page to display
and print. To work around this problem, format the paragraph mark
after the table to be either hidden or very small, say, 1 pt. (If you
choose to make it hidden you must also clear the option to print
hidden text on the Print tab of the Tools Options dialog box.)
