Web Query (Excel 2003)
I'm trying to create a workbook that queries financial data (multiple tables)
from MSN. I can get the data queried just fine into different worksheets, but I can't figure out on my main worksheet, which performs different calculations from data queried on the other worksheets, how to enter a stock symbol and after hitting enter, have it refresh the data with my new query. For example, I have 3 financial statements queried in 3 different worksheets. I also have another worksheet that queries stock quotes. On my main worksheet (different than the other 4) I would like to be able to type the stock symbol in a cell, which would then import the data (stock quote and financial statements) into the other spreadsheets. I know my question is long winded, but I hope it makes sense to somebody. I'm trying to automate a labor intensive job I'm currently doing. Thanks! |

It sounds like you may be able to use parameters to do what you want. Here
is a link that may help. http://www.nickhodge.co.uk/gui/datam...taexamples.htm -- Carlos "Dawgman" wrote in message ...
