Skipping pages
I created a document which is about 150 pages long. It
has a header and a footer. When I modify a header and try do double click out of the header box, it takes me from whatever page I am on to the page #61. For the life of me I cannot figure out why and I couldn't find any help in the help menu. I will appreciate any help. TX |

Skipping pages
Kitty, I suspect this scenario: you are on page 61; you activate the header
to make some changes; you edit multiple headers by either scrolling through the doc or using the navigation buttons on the Headers and Footers toolbar; you finish making your header edits on a different page than 61; you double-click back into the doc and your view jumps back to page 61. This is because Word has remembered where your cursor or selection was before activating the headers and footers, and returns you back to that point. If this does not describe your problem, please describe it in more detail. Regards, Chad "Kitty" wrote in message ... I created a document which is about 150 pages long. It has a header and a footer.
