Default MS Word not fully functional

I bought a new computer to replace my dead win 98
machine. THe new one has Win XP Home. Since I have 3 kids
I also installed "limited" log ons for each of them. I
noticed now that while I can run all the office aps in
each log in some functions are inop on the "limited" user
accounts. Functions like spell and grammar check are
inoperative. If I give the account full access everything
is fine. Is there a way to accomplish full functionality
on the limited accounts?
I really hate to go out and have to purchase Office again
as other than this 97 Professional does everyhting we
desire of a product.
THanks
