Help me please! email stuck in eternal spin
I receive a daily email from my company and since 9/13, when I try to open it, it gets stuck. I have to "end program" to stop it. I can't open Outlook at all because it immediately goes to that email and spins. Therefore I can't even go to file work offline to delete this email. This is Outlook 2003. I should mention I had to wipe out my computer and reinstall all programs 8/26. I have tried to repair and also reinstall my Office CD. Also download updates from Office Outlook. -- llgrass http://forums.slipstick.com |

Help me please! email stuck in eternal spin
start outlook without a preview pane - at Start menu, run (Windows key+ R)
type outlook.exe /safe:1 Then shift+delete the message. If Outlook opens ok but crashes when you try to delete it, select the message before and after it and shift+delete all three. (if you need to keep those two message make copies first, select each one, ctrl+c to copy, ctrl+v to paste. Delete one copy of each.) -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com/ Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: Do you keep Outlook open 24/7?
