Default 1 document is scaled down

I have a document I'm currently working on which seems to have scaled itself
down on the page, despite all settings seeming to be correct (page size etc).
A colleague of mine can view and print the document as it should be seen,
and I can work on other documents without any problems

Does the document contain markup (tracked changes or comments)? If so, and
if this is Word 2002 or above, Word is allowing extra margin space for the
"balloons."
