Default error message when opening Calendar Printing Assistant

Tools, Trust Center, Add-ins, manage, COM Add-ins, Go, tic the box.

If it isn't listed you can "Add" and navigate to and select the
"cpaoaddin.dll" in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12

It could be that your registry has just simply gotten stomped and
you may need to rebuild your actual Vista profile. This would be
another possible solution, that may or may not work. I would hate
to have you start trying a bunch of possible solutions that are just
simply guesses.

I would suggest that perhaps it is time to ask Microsoft if they are
aware of any issues that involve one of your programs and the
Printing Assistant.

If you have any other addin's, perhaps that are accessing the
MAPI32.dll at the same time as Outlook 2007 Printing Assistant
and just plain 'ol aren't sharing nicely.

It will be a separate "sort" of program. It is on the Start menu,
- All Programs, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Office Tools.
Just lauch this separate application (Open it) and it will work
in conjunction with your Outlook Calendar. (It will find your
Calendar in Outlook by itself).

This confused me a bit when I first installed it. =)

I tried that. First, I found it in Program Files (x86) folder, I don't think
that makes a difference. When I select "cpaoaddin.dll", nothing happens. It
doesn't get added to the Add-Ins available list or anywhere.

See if you can uninstall it in Add/remove programs, and then install as
referred to above.

Default error message when opening Calendar Printing Assistant

Just as a follow up... I found out that it had to do with the CPAO Addin
Dlls. Here's how I was told to fix it and it worked.
1. Go to your program files - Microsoft Office - Office12 folder and
check if you have the CPAO dlls there. If there is a cpaoaddin.dll then do
step 2

2. Make sure Outlook and CPAO are not running, then

run a CMD window as administrator and type: regsvr32
"%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Office\Office12\cpaoaddin.dll"

3. Restart Outlook and CPAO
