Default access 2003 report (preview) crashes application

I uninstalled Access 2000 and installed 2003. Under my username I can see
both converted, unconverted bases and their reports perfectly. So can the
primary user of that workstation at a different workstation. But at his
machine, under his name, if he double clicks an extant report (2000 database)
the application completely crashes. He can, though, hightlight the report and
actually send to the printer via the file menu. This is a tough one. Help.

Default

If anyone is interested we solved this by re-assigning default printer,
removing the original default printer, and re-assigning the original as the
default.
