Recovering deleted contacts
I have Outlook 2003 on my personal (non-work) laptop. I inadvertently
deleted some contacts. I didnt delete by moving the files into the deleted items folder. How do I recover them? I tried system restore and that didnt work. I tried going into the registry as suggested here http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/246153 and that didnt work. I also searched for .pst folders, found them, and opened them from outlook, but the particular contact folder didnt show up. Thanks for any help you could provide. |

Recovering deleted contacts
Restore from your most recent backup.
When you delete Outlook data, you delete it. System restore never recovers data. The article is not relevant because you are not running against Exchange server. That's why you backed up your data yourself. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "greg975" wrote in message ... I have Outlook 2003 on my personal (non-work) laptop.
