Flash functionality in Powerpoint 2007

Flash functionality in Powerpoint 2007
Does 2007 do a better job of working with video and audio than
previous versions? And how about flash animations or is it just the same with a bit more glitz? The important changes in 2007 concerned the UI, the templates and the graphics tools (and IMHO that is pretty much). Multimedia and animations did not change that much. But when I and my colleagues have problems with video or audio, the problem mostly lies in the file format of the multimedia file, not in the way PowerPoint handles it. And the capability to handle multimedia is a capability of the OS. Importing flash is still the same: draw a flash control, type the path and file name into the properties and you're done.
