Yeah, Brian I am quite meek and mild and extremely peaceful, but I just
don't suffer fools and failures easily. -- "If you don't know where you are going, any road will take you there!" |

All very interesting...but focus on me guys.
Yes I am on a p2p network. Yes the file is located on an associates hard drive. Cannot access from his computer either. Yes I have NAV running. Disabled it & no luck. Same files have been used and edited for thepast year+. No problems. |

A small child turns to Ed, and exclaims: "Look! Look! A post from Kevin
!"... All very interesting...but focus on me guys. Well, until you answered the questions there wasn't much we could do except mill around. Yes I am on a p2p network. Yes the file is located on an associates hard drive. Cannot access from his computer either. Copy the file(s) to your local hard drive, and open them from there. Yes I have NAV running. Disabled it & no luck. I asked a similar question further up the line (sorry).
All of Kevin's particulars apply to me as well, except that I can't copy the file to my harddrive (it gives me an error). I tried deactivating Script Blocking as well as the Office plug-in and still no luck either opening it in Publisher or copying it to the hard drive. Any other suggestions? Thanks! -----Original Message----- Ed, you are a freakin genius. aka...thanks . |
