how to lock PST file
I want my email to be locked. When I open Outlook it ask for my user id &
passward, I want that if I dont enter the passward and just enter, my mail box should display blank (inbox, sent items etc all blank). Any idea, any passward protection of locking system available within the MS Outlook. -- Message posted via OfficeKB.com http://www.officekb.com/Uwe/Forums.a...tlook/200903/1 |

Outlook itself will not do this, though third-party applications might.
My suggestion is to set the security on the computer itself, not within outlook. PST files are not entirely secure to begin with, so if you're running XP or Vista you should set different users for the PC itself. You can only password protect the pst, see properties of Personal Folders,
other than that theres nothing you can natively do within Outlook, you certainly cannot display an empty data file "adeel via OfficeKB.com" u32736@uwe wrote in message news:932c176f199ea@uwe...
