How do I connect the Barometer to Excel data?
A shot in the dark:
The OP is talking about a graphic such as a thermometer or barometer that measures the progress toward a goal, such as a fund raiser. The barometer would automatically rise as more money or members were added. Mike Ed Bennett wrote: Chuck Davis newsgroup at anthemwebs dot com was very recently heard to utter: Barometer 1. How do I connect the Barometer to Excel data?
Dear Mike
You are right about the barometer that shows you the progress toward a goal such as fund raising. However, could you or somebody else tell me how to do it. I would like to connect data in excel spread sheet to the barometer. To see what I am talking about go to Microsoft Templates homepate and type in Barometer in search. The barometer is there; however, the problem is connecting the data. How do I connect the Barometer to Excel data?
Rick,
I don't use Excel or Pub that much, at least not for this type of thing. I would think you would need to create the barometer as a chart in Excel and then link it to the Pub doc.
