field filled in automatically

I want the user to select one of ten courses from a drop
down list (Field1), and when he/she does, the cost of the
course will automatically appear in another field
(field2) so that the info in both fields will be placed
in the underlying table). The prices of some courses are
duplicates.
What is the easiest way to do this?
