Default Report Headers/Design

1. I have a report with 23 columns. The columns contains 3 or 4 digit
numbers. The Column Headers (in Page Header Sec) are wider than the numeric
data in the columns. How can I display the column headers in a way to be
long enough to be descriptive yet not waste space on the report - so ideally
it may fit on One page.
2. I have footer sums in the Report Footer. Can I display the footer sums
with out displaying the Column Headers in the Page Header Section.

Have you considered vertical labels?

Steve - Can you provide a little more detail re the 'total' label at
beginning of footer sums row. I am summing the fields from the detail
section in the footer in a vertcal list vs horozontal (as in the detail
section) but the headers from the page header section show up above the
footer section.

1. A possibility would be to label the columns A to W and put a legend in
the report footer.
2. Yes. You could put a "Total" label at the beginning of the footer sums
row.

I envision your report looking like this..... is this correct?

Page Header
A B C D ...........
Detail
2 5 3 1
6 3 5 7
4 9 0 1
Report Footer
Total 12 17 8 9
