Default temporary use of ink tool

i was using visio to create some pneumatic diagrams. i had to use ink tool
for specific type of drawing. Now, the pen ( we see after we activate the
tool) is not going and the normal mode is not coming back. i tried to click
visio ink tool again again but nothing works. I am very new user to this
without any theory knowledge about it. please answer if you understood my
problem. thanks..
