Reinstalling won't solve configuration issues. Check your address in your
account settings; Tools- E-mail Accounts

What account type are you using?
Are you using any security software that integrates with Outlook?

What happens when you use the webmail interface to your e-mail account
to send a message from there? Does the ######## still show up as the
username in the sender's (your) e-mail address? If so then ask
plateautel.net why they are masking out your e-mail address in your
outbound e-mails.

The webmail interface doesn't show up with the #### signs. I've already
been on line twice with tech support at plateau and they can't seem to figure
it out either

Then you installed something that intercepts the e-mail traffic to
alter it. Could be anti-virus software, anti-spyware software,
anti-spam software, or some add-in you installed into Outlook. To
disable add-ons that you installed into Outlook, start it in its safe
mode ("outlook.exe /safe"). You could use msconfig.exe to disable
startup programs or reboot into Windows Safe Mode to eliminate startup
programs from loading to see if the problem still persists then.

You could also test sending outbound e-mails by using Outlook Express
to see the same problem occurs when using a different e-mail program.
