Charting date vs time
I am currently trying to plot the date versus sunset times. (ie, 1/1 on the
x-axis would correlate to a sunset time of 5:26 on the y-axis). Excel doesn't recognized this. Anyone have a suggestion on how I can plot this? Thanks, Gig --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Charting date vs time
Gig -
Put your dates in one column and times in the next. Enter them as simple dates and times. Leave a blank cell above the dates, and put a label, like "Sunset Time" above the times. Select a single cell in the data range, and start the chart wizard. The blank cell tells Excel that the first row and column are special, so it uses the first column for the X values (or category labels) and the first row for series names. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Peltier Technical Services http://PeltierTech.com/Excel/Charts/ _______ Gig wrote: I am currently trying to plot the date versus sunset times.
