Default Merge PDF from Access

Hi

I need to generate a letter in PDF with a couple of fields such as name dob
etc from access. How can I achieve this? I am thinking to maybe have a word
document and then fill the fields from access via automation and see if
there is a way to convert this letter to PDF. Is there a better way?

Many Thanks

Regards

Unless you need more complex formatting than you can accomplish with Access
reports, you can do an Access report, then print to PDF. I am in the habit
of always previewing reports and letting the user decide whether to print
them. You can use either Adobe Acrobat, or one of several third-party/open
source programs to create a PDF. I use the open-source program "PDF Creator"
that I obtained from Source Forge. Because there are so many opportunities
for human error and hardware glitches, I just do not ever just print a
report without putting up a preview (but I know people who do, whose
opinions I respect).

Either your typing or your spelling is not so great, Stven. It sounds as if
you want to find yourself a "social networking site", or create yourself a
blog, but not post in a technical newsgroup. This newsgroup is for technical
discussion of and questions and answers about Microsoft Office Access
database software. There are, just for your information, no newsgroups for
chatting, sharing your experiences (other than answering technical
questions), nor '"getting something funny" in the Microsoft-sponsored
newsgroups.
