Issue of pennies
Hi
I have this problem on report that the total is out by a penny and client is complaining. Like below; Net £334.31 Vat £58.50 Total £392.82 How can I fix it so calculations seem correct to the second decimal? Thanks Regards |

Thanks Regards A Currency datatype has four decimals, even when only two are shown; if you're using a Single or Double (not the best idea) there will be even more. I'd suggest wrapping the calculation in a call to the Round() function. You don't say how the calculation is done but it might be something like setting VAT to Round([Net] * [VATRate], 2) adapted to your situation. -- John W. Vinson [MVP] |
