Default Embedding chart question

I have been told that there is somewayto embed a chart into a worksheet? Someone told me you can have a group you want to chart (E7-E40) you can embed the chart in another cell (like E490) and go right to it when you click on an icon in that cell. Is that true? And if it is how do I go about doing that? Thanks for any help!

Default Embedding chart question

You embed a chart in a sheet by right clicking on the chart, clicking on
Location on the pop up menu, and selecting the sheet name from the As
Object In dropdown list. A chart is not embedded "in" a cell; charts
float above the worksheet grid, but you can align charts with cells.
Hold down the Alt key while moving and resizing a chart to make its
edges line up with cell boundaries.

You can also make a hyperlink. When you click on a hyperlink in Excel,
it will jump to another range of cells. To appear to hyperlink to an
embedded chart, set your hyperlink to the range underneath the embedded
chart.
