Imported Query Not Updatable - Identical Front End Databases
I have created a front end database in Access for our SQL tables. For each
user in our department, I created a custom front end based on their needs. Everyone uses one identical form which I exported from the master to each user's database - however, one user can't update the information in the form because the underlying query is not updatable. It's the exact same query/form as in the master. I have gone into the other database and tried to run it myself from my computer and get the same problem. I don't understand why this would happen. Any ideas? |

Imported Query Not Updatable - Identical Front End Databases
I have figured out what the problem was - some of the underlying sql tables
did not have a unique ID set. It's still strange that it worked without the unique ID set for other users, but at least now we can all access the form.
