Default How can I delete page border guides

Page border guides have appeared as a default in the header and trailer
sections of every new document. They are annoying as I like the concept of a
"fresh start". I can't recall when this began but it may be connected with
my inclusion of some Chineese text. At several points I've been asked did I
want to make a permenant change to Normal and I may have answere incorrectly.
The border guides appear as an "L" and a reversed "L" at the top and bottom
of the page. I've said Borders None as my page option and on the Borders
button for Page Setup when I press View Headers/Footers. Can someone tell me
how to turn the appearance of these off? Help...

Hi Dan,

To get rid of the marks you must disable any Asian language support in
Office. Start menu Programs Microsoft Office Microsoft Office Tools
Language Settings, select Chinese (and any other Asian languages), and click
Remove.
