Change "Keep shape text synchronized" on an off-page reference
Search as I may I cannot find how to edit or change an existing "off page
reference" to either enable or disable "keep shape text synchronised". I have a set of sheets in a drawing where there are a significant number of off page references where I wish to change the state of synronization. Is this possible? |

Change "Keep shape text synchronized" on an off-page reference
Hello Pete,
Checking the 'Keep synchronised' checkbox adds a formula ( =RUNADDONWARGS("OPC","/CMD=3") ) to the 'TheText' cell of the 'Events' section of the ShapeSheet. If you've only got a few shapes to deal with then you can just paste the formula into the ShapeSheet, however if you've got quite number you might be better off with some code. Note, you'll have to paste the formula into both shapes of each pair otherwise you'll only get one way synchronisation. If you've not come across the ShapeSheet before then you might be interested in this post: http://visualsignals.typepad.co.uk/v...or-starte.html Hope that helps, but let me know if you have any other questions.
