Default column widths - exact measurements

I have a template that needs to be adjusted to exact measurements, but after
changing the width of each column, two of them are perfect but the third
keeps reverting back to its original measurement - why and how can I stop it?
Thanks

First of all, make sure that auto resizing is disabled (Table Properties |
Table | Options). Then you may find it easier to adjust column widths using
the old Table Cell Height and Width dialog; see
