Default Remove Blanks from phone numbers

Hello,

When I insert or edit phone numbers, a blank character(space) is
automatically inserted in the phone number and it cannot be removed.

Is there a way for outlook to stop this, because it creates problems when
synchronizing with my mobile phone.

Thanks and regards

Do you have your Windows dialing properties correctly configured?

Yes, I do. I also tried to remove all the dialing properties just in case the
problem gets fixed, cause this computer never dials numbers, but there is no
option to do this.
