On your old computer, use Outlook Express to import all your Outlook 2000
data. The mail store of Outlook Express is compatible with the one from Windows (Live) Mail which will allow you to migrate from Outlook to Windows (Live) Mail. Contacts can also be exported to a csv-file which Windows (Live) Mail can import from. -- Robert Sparnaaij [MVP-Outlook] Coauthor, Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.howto-outlook.com/ Outlook FAQ, HowTo, Downloads, Add-Ins and more http://www.msoutlook.info/ Real World Questions, Real World Answers ----- "confused-in-orford" wrote in message ... cannot export due to missing or corrupt data1.msi file. tried fixing it but, I rec drive error when cd is put in during procedure. drive is ok. plays audio. Roady,
Outlook express is lookign for a WAP file. The only files associated with outlook are the PST files. WAP must be encapsulated within? As for exporting to CSV.that's when win2000 outlook is looking for missing data1.msi file. I guess I'mjust hosed. Thanks for your suggestions. Another method to get your contact information is via Excel (which can also
save as csv-file).
