Default Table Relationships

I had read someplace that a table name can be change
How do I change the name so I can use the alias.
I want to use only the supervisor names in my employee table.

This is confusing to me - first you say you want to change table name then
it looks like you want to change field name maybe.

Give some examples of what you have and what you would like to get to.

Really would appreciate someone telling me what I am doing wrong.
