Default Printing Double Sided

Hi:

I have an excel workbook with 8 worksheets with one page of printable data on each sheet, I want to print out each of the 8 sheets in a report, but I want to do double sided printing so that the report only contains four A4 pages. I can do double side printing when all the printable data is on one worksheet but I can't seem to be able to do it when the printable data is on seperate sheets in the excel workbook.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Liam.

I don't know how to do this in excel but there is a program available
that will allow you to do this, the program is called fineprint and
details can be found at fineprint.com, you can download a trail version
to see if you like it before you have to buy.

Hello Liam, two thing to try may be:

1. in excel set the range you want to print on each spreadsheet
(highlight area you want to print then go to file/print area/set print
area, then use file/page set up to make it print to 1 page tall 1 page
wide etc), do this for each sheet, then hold down the "control" key
click on each sheet tab you want to print then go to print (I presume
this would work if you have a printer that can double side print
automatically)

2. Use powerpoint to print it out, for each sheet highlight the area
you want to print and then copy (ctrl C), then go to powerpoint and 1
slide for each page you want to print out separately click on the slide
and go edit/paste special, in the paste special subscreen select paste
as link, do this for all you want to print out and then print from
powerpoint, if you save this powerpoint file then next time you want to
do the same printouts you just have to have the excel file open and
then open up powerpoint presentation and the links should update and
you can print out the new report.

Hope this helps and makes sense

Does your printer support duplexing? If so, if you set that in the Printer
Properties dialog, it should work -- at least it does for me.
